Henan Province encourages private capital into healthcare system

Henan Province, China announced policy to allow private capital to enter social healthcare system and run private clinics and hospitals.

Entities like enterprises, non-profit organizations, charity organizations, foundations, commercial insurance firms and even private persons will be encouraged to establish private clinics or hospitals, or set up joint ventures with state owned hospitals.

Henan is located in Central China, with population of ca. 94.100.000 inhabitants. The authority's KPI is to increase the share of private healthcare organizations up to 25% by 2020 province wide.
